The 7 and 8 year old artists applied paint, tissue paper and glitter to portray drops of water. The theme of the float is ‘Connections’. Multi coloured pipes will run up and around the float. Pipes are a key part of plumbing but the graphic theme is also highlighting the connections between communities.

eps have close links to the Worshipful Company of Plumbers as the next master of this ancient livery company is a non executive Director. Encouraging young people into recognised trades is a key part of the eps training and development policy and 10 apprentices, including 2 female apprentice plumbers, engaged this year, will be part of the procession. eps, Aecom and Buildbase are sponsoring the Worshipful Company of Plumbers float for this year’s show.
