eps makeover Tower Hamlets estates

Housing estates across Tower Hamlets are looking better than ever following a makeover by eps.

Working in conjunction with Tower Hamlet Homes, eps is replacing or repairing railings, removing broken paving slabs, renewing pavements and repainting bollards.

Communal gardens and children’s play areas can help to improve the quality of the environment and produce a welcome contrast to high rise dwellings.

In Solander Gardens E1, eps is removing walls, broken planters,  and rubbish  to prepare a area of fresh ground ready for new landscape gardens to be planted.

eps recognises that the local environment can have a real impact on residents’ feelings about where they live and can reduce the fear of crime. eps is also working with Tower Hamlets Homes and the local police to identify areas on the estates where inproved access and lighting can help to reduce anti social behaviour.
